Annual Fundraising Campaign
The Annual Fundraising Campaign begins in September and runs through the end of June the following year. This campaign funds The Childhood League Center’s general operating budget of approximately $2.5 million.
The Annual Fundraising Campaign accounts for 20% or $500,000 of the 2011-2012 FY annual operating budget. This amount has grown from 9.14%, or $106,000, just a decade ago.
Childhood League volunteers are working hard to meet their portion of the AFC goal. The volunteers are divided into 8 teams, with each fund-raising team representing a classroom at the Center. This year, AFC teams are using personal fund-raising pages to send electronic appeals to families and friends, as well as sending out printed appeals.
